Evemodel LQS21 10PCS Model Railroad Train Lamp Posts Led 6.6cm or 2.6inch Street Light Lamps OO / HO Scale

I ordered 40 lamps in total for my 1:64 scale diorama. First off is they look great, they are also adjustable for a wide range of scales. Resistors are supplied but to be honest the lamps powered by 3v are plenty bright. I tested each lamp as soon as I received them and all 40 lamps worked great, there were no dead lights. The quality was great.

Easy to install on my HO layout. I have a 3 VDC power source that they connect to. I don't have to mess with the resistors. I simply use 2 D cell batteries, and a small terminal block and they work quite well. I used an old Radio Shack battery holder with a cheap rocker switch to turn them on and off. I don't know how long those batteries will last, but it has been several months and they still work. I bring all that up because you DO NOT want to power these lights with your power pack without the resistors. It doesn't take very much over voltage to burn them out, trust me, I know from experience. Yes, I will buy these again, as needed.

Chatted with Amazon, they promised credit for no resistors, but I don’t have credit.So total failure by Amazon. Lights are good though.

This vender is great. He even added the resistors because some people don’t use 3 V they use the standard 12 V DC that’s available from an old transformer we might have laying around. The lights are adjustable and so I had an easy time making them fit my HO scale. They are a little break if that’s really a complaint so I just tinted the lenses with a little bit of yellow and it looks perfect

Love these street lamps. Produce very bright warm white light & look (as shown in photos) excellent on layout!Only wish they came w/resistors pre-soldered. It would be much easier to cut them off if you don't need them than soldering them yourself if you do.But that's picky - these are great models at a very reasonable price (& I have seen them advertised elsewhere for twice the price!).

I have ordered other lights and they just did not work out well at all. They were not effective in throwing off enough light. I will say on these, the 3volts is nice for a soft light, but if you want brightness, take the time and hook up the resistors.

Height is adjustable. Easy to set a height with a drop of Elmer's clear glue at the bottom of the base. Works well with a 3v power adapter, but the supplied resistors let you use it with 9-16v power sources as well.

Lamp wiring is very fragile and thin...almost thin as a hair....makes connecting to even 22 or 24 gauge wiring a bit challenging which was my intention for my model trains. On top of that you need to solder in a resistor (provided) for each lamp if you want to run them off of a 12 volt power supply
