Looks interesting...but has to be mounted to a flat surface i.e. Can not be used on a tree. Mounting is tricky ,since its screws are hidden by the piece itself and have to tightened perfectly to make it secure . I also glued it on as well as screwing it on. A bit of a pain. But this is the second one that I've bought so as long as the one is a little handy they pretty neat.

I hung this on a tree that my son passes on his way to the school bus stop. I did not tell him about it so he was so surprised when he saw him. My son is 6 and has an enormous imagination so I told him this is a magical elf that looks out for him everyday. He loves his little magical elf. It's good quality so hopefully it will last for many seasons/years, as I am not one to take things in for the winter to help them last longer.

As above, this has not been opened because it is a Christmas present for a friend, but I have one that someone gave me as a present, and I love it. It is so cute. I have it positioned on a tree, looking around at who is coming up to the house. Easily moveable and easy to hang. Anyone would love it as a gift, especially at this price.

It's a nice item and looks great once I found the right nails/screws to mount it. I would have given it 5 stars but with no mounting hardware provided, it took me some time to find the right size nails and/or screws to mount it on my tree. I would not let this fact stop you from buying it just be aware you have to have the right size nails to mount it. The manufacturer would be wise to add the mounting hardware in future runs of the product.

Junk, tho it's kinda cute, extremely small and like everyone said, the holes didn't work and they didn't even include screws, lucky I have some small enough but I'll have to glue them in. At best, they'll look good peeping on a 4x4 piece of wood.

I like this product because it is very adorable. The product is cheaply made and has a faulty mechanism. On the back of the elf are two holes that has a metal covering around them. They were broken upon arrival, and had to be glued before I could begin to hang them up. The holes are not deep enough to be hung on a screw, and I had to pilfer through all my screws to find ones that would even work. Then hands take different sized screws than the elf head. I had to drill out some of the material from the screw holes on the back of the elf head, and both hands before any of the screws would fit. I think the hardware should be included. It took several days to get it rigged to hang up. Total pain in the rump, and very frustrating. This product is not worth the money. I would not purchase this again. I was going to send this product back, but I was determined to make it work. No product should have to be modified this much before getting it to work properly.

The perfect size for my tree. I had to work at the holes to hang the head on the tree. The hole is not lined up but I was able to work around it.

My husband ni really like this , elf is a great camouflage with our trees n going great with our garden theme
