OtterBox Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Case Commuter Series - Retail Packaging - Aqua Sky (Aqua Blue/Light Teal)

This item didn't cost much at all. Shipping was fast too. Item went on my phone easy enough. Bought the aqua blue one. I have had for a while now and dropped my phone on numerous occasions but no disasters here. The case has held up very well along with my phone. It is more a really tough rubber. Very pretty in color which has not faded. No problem inserting my charging cord or headphone cord either. No slipping out of your hands, no tearing of the rubber either. My young grandchild uses my phone for game play almost every night and it has held up well to her sticky and dirty hands at times. Still pretty and working well. I would definitely recommend.UPDATE: I originally bought in March 2018. It is now July 2019. This case has held up wonderful. I have dropped on several occasions on concrete: no tears, no scratches, no dents and no breakage. Color has not faded. Still have sticky little hands touching it & it wipes clean. Still works great. This case is a must buy for a phone. Highly recommend.UPDATE 8/2020 This item still looks great. No tears, nicks or fading.

The best cases I have bought have always been Otterboxes. (iPhone 4, Samsung S3, Note 3, and Note 4). This is the 1st Commuter case I've ever had, and its basically the opposite style of the Defender cases. So I'll do a comparison for anyone who needs to know ahead of time what the difference is before they purchase this case. The hard plastic part of the case is on the outside and the rubber material is on the inside. There is no built in screen protector like the Defenders have but it comes with a stick on one ( that I can never ever ever get on straight or without bubbles...) that works just fine against scratches. Also, it didn't come with a belt clip holder/holster thing. All the Otterboxes I've ever bought came with one.All of that being said... the Commuter cases are great, it's thinner than the Defender and so far works just as well against drops with no problems.

Nice slim case easily slides in and out of pocket and doesn't take over the phone. The color ia cute and classy. Fits my Note 4 perfectly. The ridges and rubber part on the side allow for a good grip. I drop my phone nearly every day and have 3 littles who get a hold of it. It is slobber proof in all the right places and holds up great to the daily drops!

This is a sturdy case that fits very well. I chose the Commuter because it provided protection without being bulky or industrial-looking. It is certainly an attractive case and I like the fact that it doesn't absorb dirt. I've had it for about a month now and I haven't had to wash it yet. The price is amazing too. I would've paid much more for the same case had I purchased it at a retail store.

Boxy but sturdy

This is the best case you can buy for your Note 4...unless you want the Defender series. If your work is physical. . Construction for example...you need the defender. But the commander fits my needs perfectly. It protects the phone without a lot of extra bulk. The screen protector is the easiest one I've ever successfully installed and I don't feel it takes away from the clarity of the actual screen. The mint green color is pretty...bonus! Edited 4/18/15 ...recently dropped my phone face down on concrete. No damage to phone or case

So far not super impressed, as compaired to the Defender case. The screen protector is not all that, it is not quite large enough, which I consider a major FUBAR, even using great care, there are small bubbles too. The Commuter IS thinner than the Defender, but lacks the more secure feel, as the majority of the case exterior is the hard plastic, and feels slippery in my hands. So far I have not actually fumbled the phone, but I am sure that is going to happen, sooner than later. I really did not like how thick my Defender was, and the silicone got stained from the pocket of my blue jeans, but I feel that my Note 4 was more safe than it is now in the Commuter. I will stick with the Commuter for a few more days, but I think I will be getting another Defender shortly. :/

I really like the color. I used to have a black defender case that I'd lose in low light conditions. The case fits very snug without any fitting issues and is very streamline.

I got this case for my wife and she likes it, it does add a fair bit of weight to the phone but also makes it grippy and adds alot of protection against drops (which she does often and no issues). The color is exactly as pictured and all the cutouts were exact and quality was as expected from Otterbox as they are always excellent. We got this product a day earlier then expected also which is great!

OtterBox is arguably the best device case mfg out there. This double layer protected case is worth every dollar. I picked it up for a client and she loves it. The colour, the style, the ruggedness, the safety!

I purchased an Otterbox Commuter case for my last phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) so when I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, I went for Otterbox again (this range.)First and foremost: This case offers excellent protection from falls & bumps etc. There is shock proof padding at the corners and the combination of rubber and plastic give an overall solid, robust cover which fits tightly and securely.The only draw back is that it adds a lot of weight and size to the phone. This was also true for the Otterbox Commuter case, however I was (and still am) happy to accept the additional size in exchange for the protection.i would recommend this case but please be aware that it results in you having a much larger, heavier device.
