Basic Electronics (Dover Books on Engineering) Revised Edition

I love paper books, but I do wish it came in a pdf or Kindle format also.

Not what you come to expect from years of government training, this course is actually useful and good as an introduction to electronics. It also makes a very good reference for those little items that you so easily forget!! A good book for your shelf and workbench.

This book clearly explains basic electrical concepts form energy levels to transistors to communications in clear and consise language.Definitely a good read if you want understanding of communication electronics without confusion

This is the updated navy book on electricity that has chapters on tube and transistor audio not included in the earlier book.Laid out in fairly easy to understand manner with comprehensive symbol guide.Highly recommended book and a great seller, shipped quick and a good price.A+

Well written and very informative Navy schools have used it for years and a great reference book for the serious student.

Of what I have studied of the book so far, it is a very good book to help you with working with electronics

I bought it as a teaching aid for someone with no previous electronic education. It does not cover the very basics such as Ohms law, Kirchoff's voltage laws etc.

Easy to read and understand

I due libri fanno parte dello stesso programma di formazione somministrato da US Navy alla fine degli anni 60. Anche se sembrano un po' datati, mi sembra che diano al lettore la stessa sensazione che puo' dare lo storico Olivieri-Ravelli: libri curati nei contenuti e nell'esposizione. I due tomi sono ricchi di bei disegni e, onestamente, fanno rimpiangere il periodo tipografico pre MS-Word. Alcuni contenuti sono decisamente datati (es. alcune descrizioni sugli isolamenti dei cavi), ma sono comunque interessanti per chi ha la curiosita' di capire l'evoluzione tecnologica nel settore e per chi ha l'opportunita' di lavorare con apparati elettrici (militari, avionici, ferroviari ecc) in servizio da molto tempo.

米国海軍の教科書です。古い本ですがとても具体的でわかりやすく、理屈よりも本音で書いてくれているので非常に実用的です。海軍の訓練教材として発行部数が多いためか、安いのも魅力。姉妹本の”Basic Electricity”もおすすめです。
