I love the bonuses. I love the descriptions and pictures. I love that it explains what a griot is. I love that there are modern people included in the deck. My only gripe is that there are small typos, but I can overlook those. I can't wait to get the other editions!

I really enjoy sharing these cards with my children. We learn one per week. For fun, I have my elementary school aged children read the card and act out the information in a skit. I like that the information is succinct and accessible. There are also plenty of historical and present day people to learn about that you might not otherwise hear of. As far as improvements, there are grammatical errors on some of the cards and the print is tiny (hence 4 starts). Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

These cards are sturdy but I laminated them anyway will use them for homeschooling.

I absolutely love these cards. They include persons I have not heard of before. The color saturation is great. I will say though that the artist was not on point in some of the rendering of some people such as Oprah. But, beyond that, I am well pleased and these cards met my needs. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

This item came quicker than expected and well package. I took it to a small black history meeting and it was the talk of the all adult meeting. The size is perfect for my purse, the coating is perfect for handling and the only issue is, I wish the print was larger for the older group, who didn't have their glasses available. This item was a great success, I'll order more from this seller and highly recommend this item.

I bought these for my grandchildren. I want them learn about black history, but I also wanted it to be fun. We love it.
