I'm in love with this piece. It is a split hoop and very easy to open slip though your cartilage and push the ends back together. Super easy super cute It slips around in my ear no problem. It doesn't bother my ear at all when I'm sleeping or brushing my hair and no reactions with my sensitive skin. 2 thumbs

I purchased this hoop to go in my cartridge piercing on my ear. Please make sure you read reviews before purchasing. The opening for this earring is just a cut in the stainless steel (which when wearing the earring, can become incredibly painful). I love the look of the earring, but it is not very practical to wear. (And I followed the directions that came with the earring on how to properly insert it/remove it... it still hurt and was not comfortable at all).

When I first saw this hoop, I thought for sure it wasn't going to be sturdy, but I've been wearing it for over a month now, night and day, through hair washings even, and it stays in place, doesn't snag, is perfectly comfortable, and is very pretty. I'm REALLY pleased and recommend!! (Note, you only get one hoop per order.)

Generally my ears are pretty sensitive but I’ve found I can wear sterling silver provided the quality is fairly high. This earring caused a reaction in 24 hours on my cartilage piercing. It is REALLY pretty and dainty but I can’t wear it. If you aren’t super sensitive to metal impurities it’s gonna be a great find for you.

I'm using this in the side of my nose. It's very elegant, a little big for my nose but works beautifully. Looking for one smaller hoop.

When I got this hoop, I was worried about it. There is no latch or “hook” like a normal earring. I read the instructions and it said to just pull in a twist motion and then put it in your ear, then twist it back into shape. Of course, I was very skeptical about this. However, after a few minutes I had it in my cartridge and twisted back. I was afraid it was going to hurt my ear, so i moved it back in forth through the earring hole a few times. It didn’t poke me so I figured I would leave it in and see how it goes. Well, it’s been a week and the hoop hasn’t twisted, fallen off or poked me. So I’m gonna go with 5 stars. I was pleasantly surprised.

I like the look, and design. However, it most definitely is not real sterling silver. I wore it for a day and my ear was sore from allergic reaction (im not allergic to sterling silver) i had to take it out and coat it with clear nail polish. Which only lasts so long, after a while it tarnished due to the polish coming off and i got another reaction and had to throw it away. Its cute for a day or if you dont have sensitive skin. Light and at first it closes well but after a few days it was opening more and more and my hair kept getting caught so for me, it was more hassle than it needed to be. Easy to use and fits a cartilage fine but as i said, if you have sensitive skin, read reviews and buy something that actually is sterling silver not just looks sterling silver. Spend a little more to get something long lasting if you are like me and dont want to change your earrings often.
