Cree LED 6 inch Retrofit Recessed Downlight - 1100 lumens - 100W Replacement - Soft White 2700K - Dimmable - 90+ High CRI

This made replacing the 20 year old recessed bulb lights both inside and on my porch so easy. So easy to install. I haven’t found anything like it. Pay attention to the color you’re buying. I accidentally bought the cool white and it made my porch look like a cold hospital room. The warm white version is perfect.

I installed four Cree recessed lights in a high ceiling to replace a 40+year old set of floodlights; I'm NOT an electrician but my brother is; he recommended the Cree as he uses them himself on the job. Although he offered to help I was able to do everything myself and this project went very smoothly. Plugging into the existing recessed socket was as easy as screwing in a light bulb, literally. Each Cree comes with three extendable brackets that act as springs that press against the sides of the can (the lighting container in the ceiling); the assembly fitted snugly when pushed up into the can. The result is attractive and modern-looking and the LEDs (I purchased the 100W equivalent) provide ample light in a large room. Very satisfied with the ease of installation and overall appearance!

I love the brightness, my old 65w LEDs were seemingly getting dimmer over time after ~10 years and hours a day operationI was never happy with the CRI and these new lights have much more acceptable CRIInstallation was very easyThe only improvement might be a higher color temperature as I prefer 3000K over 2700K it is a cleaner color

Product is great. Obviously some water damage on the product. When I received the box (inside of the Amazon box), several were water damaged. Didn't affect performance, I just needed to clean them. For the price, a customer shouldn't have to clean a new object just after purchase.

We have 9 of these replacement lights installed and we love the clean light they cast and the easy installation. We figure we are saving almost 700 watts vs. the old incandescent lights. These lights are so much brighter and throw an even light compared to our old incandescent bulbs.

They did not recess fully into the opening as I had hoped.

This lamp is great but coloris too yellow and much warmer than what I expected for soft white.

I was using the led lights from costco. The coscto feit led kept failing. I put these cree in and they work great. I have had no failure yet.

I only gave it 4 stars because the dimming range is very poor even after upgrading to a Lutron Lumea dimmer switch. I do like how easy it was to install in my existing 6” cans. I like the blade clips much better than the spring style.
