You probably received a new battery cell inside a failed case. If the cost like $26 and came from some place in CA my guess is you got what I got. And even following Apple's battey conditioning steps it still reports as failiing. Return it for a full refund and then spend $49 for a proper battery from Newer Tech, the NuPower replacement battery for MacBook Pro 13".

Full battery will last about 2 1/2 hours max if you’re lucky.

I bought this battery because the original battery in my MacBook Pro is 6 years old and would not hold a charge and I was experiencing trouble with the keyboard as well. The online help centers recommend to replace the battery first due to the battery bulging as it ages. This made sense to me, so the battery was replaced with the one here. Now that the battery was replaced the time of use has gone up to almost 5 hours. The keyboard issues have reduced so I still need to address that separately. I’m very happy with the battery / power problem being fixed. Fully charged now in 2 hours and stays charged both overnight as well as 5 hours of working time.
